Chrissie comes from a background of teaching art projects in schools around the country.  Since 2001 she has offered holistic Swedish massage treatments, Indian head massage and reiki from home, and worked in spas around East Anglia.  A love for being in the elements, particularly swimming wild, gardening and growing vegetables also informs her yoga practice.  In 2020 Chrissie began her journey practising the Wim Hof Method,  which involves  breathwork, cold water immersion and a committed mindset.

She discovered the practices of yoga and meditation after travelling to India. Chrissie has frequently returned to India to study and live in an ashram.   In 2007 she completed a foundation course with the British Wheel of Yoga, and went on to complete a three year Teaching Diploma with the BWY.  Included in her 3 year course was the classical approach of the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, alongside the influence of the Scaravelli approach to yoga.

In April 2023 she graduated from a year long training with Uma Dinsmore -Tuli offering Well Woman Yoga Therapy for women's health and vitality.  Course accredited with the Independent Yoga Network.

Chrissie is a dedicated and engaging teacher.  She brings integrity, a wealth of knowledge and a sense of joyfulness to her classes, helping students to enjoy the experience of yoga.  Her classes are popular, with a friendly atmosphere.
